To begin my carnival poster I found an old looking carnival poster background. I then used one of the fonts given to us and decided that I was going to make it a clown show. I then added the group of clowns to the center and tried to make it fit on the page.

I realized the yellow background did not look good with the font or the clown picture so I put a luminosity filter on the background. I then used a path to create the "Dallas Carnival" text that is at the top so it would fit the space. 

I then made the text white so it was easier to read with the blue background. I tried to make the group of clowns white but it did not look how I wanted it to so I decided to switch to magic show. I used the cards image that was given to us and thought it looked much better than the clowns. I decided to remove the word circus to make room for the hat that I put on the letter "C" in magic. To make the hat look like it was on the C I erased the part of the C that was covered by the hat but was still showing through. 

I then added the hat with the bunny ears in order to fill the empty space the the right of the cards. I added a filter on the image to make it blend with the theme of the rest of the poster.
